A Simple Song With a Simple Beginning
This Christmas, I wanted to share something a little more peaceful and personal. The idea came from a challenge my wife, Tammy, gave me: “Write a song with no big production—just piano and vocals.”
That challenge became “Glowing Christmas Lights (Feels Like Coming Home).”
It’s a simple song about the quiet beauty of the season—the glow of lights, the warmth of a fire, the hush of falling snow, and the deep peace Jesus brings into it all. Writing it without layers or effects made the message feel even more honest, almost like sitting by the tree and sharing a moment with friends.
