Some worship thoughts for followers of Jesus Christ!

Let’s Make Heaven Crowded

What if worship didn’t stop at the church doors—but became a mission that filled eternity?

Let’s Make Heaven Crowded (Jesus Forever) is a worship declaration rooted in the call of Jesus for His people to shine as a light on a hill and lift His name higher. From the opening line—“We are the light on a hill, burning bright”—this song carries a clear message: the Gospel is meant to be shared, and one invitation can change everything.

The chorus is a bold, unified cry of the Church:
“Let’s rise up and shout it, let’s make Heaven crowded… Jesus is King! Jesus our Savior! Jesus Forever!”
It’s worship with purpose—praise that looks outward, believing for every nation, every tongue, and every face to be gathered into God’s glorious family.

The bridge asks the question that defines our lives as believers:
“Is this not why we’re here? Is this not why we live?”
It’s a reminder that love, obedience, and witness are how Heaven rejoices.

I invite you to watch the song video for Let’s Make Heaven Crowded (Jesus Forever) by Marshall Mabry. My prayer is that it encourages your heart, strengthens your faith, and inspires you to share Jesus boldly—until Heaven is full and God is glorified.

A busy life for God is not the same as a surrendered life to God.

“And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” — Matthew 7:23 (ESV)

For a Christian, this is one of the most sobering verses Jesus ever spoke. It reminds us that Christianity is not merely about doing things for God; it’s about knowing Him—and being known by Him. In this passage, Jesus is talking to people who claimed spiritual activity: prophesying, casting out demons, performing miracles. These were impressive works, yet Jesus says, “I never knew you.” Not “you didn’t try hard enough,” but “I never knew you.” The issue wasn’t their performance—it was their relationship.

He calls them “workers of lawlessness” because their works were disconnected from His will. They carried His name, but not His heart. They served in public, but not in obedience. They did the right things without the right relationship.

Jesus calls us to move from religious activity to authentic intimacy. From knowing about Him to living with Him. From calling Him “Lord” with our lips to honoring Him as Lord with our lives. He invites you to a deeper relationship. Not based on your achievements, but on your surrender.

Lord Jesus,
Help me not to just do things for You. Help me live my life with You. Know me, lead me, and make my heart Yours.
Amen.

Lord Jesus! Give me wisdom to truly know You
To know the widow, the orphan, the need that is true
Help me rid the shackles of indolence and comfort
And find joy in living a life with You in service discovered

“A busy life for God is not the same as a surrendered life to God.”

Glowing Christmas Lights (Feels Like Coming Home)

A Simple Song With a Simple Beginning

This Christmas, I wanted to share something a little more peaceful and personal. The idea came from a challenge my wife, Tammy, gave me: “Write a song with no big production—just piano and vocals.”

That challenge became “Glowing Christmas Lights (Feels Like Coming Home).”

It’s a simple song about the quiet beauty of the season—the glow of lights, the warmth of a fire, the hush of falling snow, and the deep peace Jesus brings into it all. Writing it without layers or effects made the message feel even more honest, almost like sitting by the tree and sharing a moment with friends.

If you’re looking for something calm, nostalgic, and Christ-centered this season, I’d love for you to give it a listen.

Thanks for being here, and Merry Christmas! 🎄✨
