YouTube Welcome!

Welcome to my new YouTube channel! After 20 years of full-time ministry as a Worship Pastor, Music Minister, and Worship Leader, I am starting a new social media ministry on Youtube. This video welcomes visitors and invites them to become part of this community of believers. I would be thrilled to have you join us as we embark on this exciting journey of sharing uplifting, inspiring music and messages.

As a Christian musician, I have a passion for creating music that speaks to the heart, uplifts the soul, and celebrates the love and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Whether you are a lifelong Christian or just beginning to explore the faith, I believe this channel is for you.

Here, you will find a variety of musical styles, from contemporary worship to gospel to traditional hymns, all with a fresh and modern twist. The music draws from a wide range of influences, including pop, rock, country, bluegrass, soul, and R&B.

But this channel is not just about music. I also share my personal journey of faith, my struggles and triumphs, and my insights into what it has meant to live a life devoted to Christ. I hope that the music and words will inspire and encourage you to draw closer to God.

So, whether you are here for the music or the message, I am excited to have you join us. Please subscribe to this channel and be the first to know when new content drops. Thank you for considering being part of this community. I look forward to growing together in faith and in music with you.

Sing To Jesus Always

Can a song sing the Name of “Jesus” too much? I believe it’s the song we need to sing every day of our lives. What is this life compared to the eternal life we have because of Jesus? 80 years? 120 years? In the scope of eternity, it’s just a brief moment. Let us always sing to Jesus with all our strength and with thanksgiving in our hearts, minds, and souls.

Nehemiah 10 – “Nehemiah said, Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Psalm 118:14 – “The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.”

Romans 8:38-39 – “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Make a Joyful Noise

joyful noise
1 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! (Psalm 100:1-2, ESV)

Our worship teams need to be pursuing “excellence,” not perfection. The team, itself, should be viewed as a painting canvas with many colors, not as a high definition photograph printed on untouchable paper. The team creates together under the direction of our Lord. They win together with joy and mercy and they lose together with sorrow and grace. Nothing should be done in selfish ambition or personal agenda. Through personal worship we all add our uniqueness to the corporate canvas colored in individual praise of Jesus. In humility, spirit and truth we present to our King of Kings this composition of worship. It is presented by an imperfect people on a journey to a perfect God.

Nothing Surprises God!

O How can I praise my awesome, amazing, holy God?
What can I say that hasn’t already been said?
Nothing I do is new to You!
I can build the tallest building and sculpt incredible detailed statues
I can compose and perform lengthy, complex literature, books, symphonies and songs
I can paint wondrous murals depicting the deep mysteries of my life’s journey
I can win spectacular athletic events demonstrate my physical strength and endurance
I can dance and run naked through the streets of my community passionately exposing all that I am
I could live my life in quiet obediance, seeking only Your provision and loving Your decrees
Trusting You and rejoicing at every hardship
Excited at the opportunities Your mercy will afford me each new day

A Psalm of Worship: More Than Life

Teach me O Lord of the infinite freedom found in Your grace.
Show me the beauty of Your tender mercy
Let me experience the wonders of Your boundless Love.
Let me tremble at the awesome power of Your righteous justice.
You love me more than I can imagine
More than I can measure in thought, word, and deed
I am not known to you because of my ignorance of justice
I am not known to you because of my ignorance of the Truth
You know me because of Your mercy and love,
but most of all because of my hearts’ willingness to give away Your grace

I praise You! My Lord, my King, my Savior!
Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is Lord of all!

A Psalm of Worship

Holy Father!
O that I may be found a worthy servant
That everyday my life would sing a song of praise to You
That charity would be my passion
That service would be my creativity
That encouragement and truth would be my word
That the joy of everything You are to me would be contagious and free
That the transformation from who I was to who I am going to be speaks of Jesus Christ
Thank you Father for Your goodness!
That we might have a glimpse of the perfection we aspire too.
That we would know darkness from light, and temporal from the eternal
That Christ is the only Way, Truth, and Life to You.
And in Him we find our righteousness to petition Your mercies and blessings.
Amen.

A Psalm of Worship

O Lord! I cry out
When the enemy tempts me to despair
I reach for You and You alone
From none other will I find refuge, strength and comfort
You have given me breath for life
The sun, moon and stars for light
Sounds to learn and make music to praise You
The wind to know the touch of coolness
Rain and water to refresh my body and spirit
You provide good food to strengthen me
You provide our clothing for protection
Everything about You is good.
You are the Everlasting Father!
You are forever faithful.
Everyday I will praise Your Name.
Holy Father,
Forgive me for I am an unworthy servant.
Have mercy on me for I have wasted Your goodness on selfish desires.
Except for my sin, all that I had, all that I have, all that will have — has always been Yours.
My life is your gift. My wife is your gift. My children are gifts from You.
All the material things I possess are gifts from You.
O Lord! Teach me Your ways.
So I may be found faithful in returning Your many blessings invested and multiplied.
Bringing glory and honor to Your Name alone.
For only You are worthy of all honor, praise, and glory.
Amen.

A Psalm of Worship: “Nothing Without You”

O Lord! Who am I without You?
Life has no meaning
Love has no substance
Beauty pales and loses its attraction
You are our Everlasting Father
With You there is no end
Life has purpose
Love is a reality
Beauty has it’s creator and joy has it’s gift
Father, You loved me enough to send your Son, Jesus Christ
He died alone on a cross so that I might live through faith in Him
In Him there is no death and my sin is banished from Your sight
You alone are God
You are good and gracious to Your people
We lack nothing in this world because You are our provider
You are our hope and help in times of need.
Though I will fail You, Your mercy and grace restores me through repentance
I will prove my love for you through my obedience to Your commandments
I will love and cherish them more than my life
Forever in Your House I will praise Your Name!
