\"Good-deeds\"<\/a>As a follower of Christ, you are an ambassador of the Kingdom. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit through which Christ the Son and God the Father are ever present with you. Wherever you are \u2013 Christ is there. In our Lord’s Prayer, the very first request was for our Father’s will to be done and His Kingdom to come to earth. This should be the very first request in all our prayers. <\/p>\n

We are the Kingdom! Wherever we go we represent eternal life through our selfless actions of love, sacrifice, and generous giving. We see a need and we respond by filling it. I believe Saint Francis of Assisi wrote his \u201cInstrument of Peace Prayer\u201d that sums up our mission in this world.

\n“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
\nWhere there is hatred, let me sow love;
\nWhere there is injury, pardon;
\nWhere there is doubt, faith;
\nWhere there is despair, hope;
\nWhere there is darkness, light;
\nWhere there is sadness, joy.<\/p>\n

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
\nTo be consoled as to console,
\nTo be understood as to understand,
\nTo be loved as to love;
\nFor it is in giving that we receive;
\nIt is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
\nIt is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.<\/center> <\/i><\/p>\n

In Matthew 10:7-8 Jesus sends his disciples with these instructions \u201c7 As you go, proclaim this message: \u2018The kingdom of heaven has come near.\u2019 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.\u201d <\/I>Christ’s message has not changed. We are His church. We are His bride joined with Him by the Holy Spirit. He is our King! And wherever we are \u2013 he is with us. And wherever the King is, there is the Kingdom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
